Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Miza, the point-of-sale and management platform provided by Miza at getmizaa.com. By creating an account or using Miza, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your business.
1. The service
Miza is a cloud platform for cafés, restaurants and similar businesses: point of sale, menu, inventory, purchases, expenses, day closing, reports and related tools. It runs in the browser and needs an internet connection.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and have the authority to act for your business.
- Keep your password and your staff’s PINs secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account, your team’s accounts and your POS devices.
- Each account belongs to one business. Give each team member their own access; don’t share accounts.
- The information you give us, such as your business name and tax registration number, must be accurate.
3. Free trial
New businesses get a 14-day free trial with every feature and no card required. When the trial ends without a subscription, the account becomes read-only: you can still see all your data and reports, but you can’t sell or make changes until you subscribe.
4. Subscription and payment
- Plans are monthly, every 6 months, or yearly. The plan includes one branch, and each extra branch is charged at the price shown for your term. Prices are shown on our website and the Subscription page.
- Payment is by card through Stripe, in advance for each term. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each term until you cancel.
- If you add or remove branches during a paid term, the amount is adjusted proportionally on your next invoice.
- Prices are currently shown without VAT. If Miza becomes VAT-registered, 5% VAT will be added and we will tell you before it applies.
- We may change prices for new subscriptions. Current subscribers keep their price for their current term, and we will notify you before any change applies to your renewal.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page (Manage plan, card & invoices). Your plan stays active until the end of the term you paid for, then it does not renew.
- Amounts already paid for the current term are not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise.
- After the term ends, the account becomes read-only and your data stays saved. You can subscribe again at any time.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, you have 7 days to update your card. After that, the account becomes read-only until payment is made. Nothing is deleted.
7. Your data
- Your business data belongs to you. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You can export your reports to Excel at any time.
- You are responsible for having the right to enter your customers’ and staff’s data, and for informing them as the law requires.
8. Your responsibilities
- Use Miza only for lawful business.
- You remain responsible for your tax obligations, the accuracy of your invoices and records, and compliance with the laws that apply to your business. Miza is a tool that helps you; it is not tax or accounting advice.
- Do not try to access other businesses’ data, disrupt the service, copy or resell it, or use it to send spam.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Miza available and secure, but we can’t promise it will always be free of interruptions or errors, for example during maintenance or internet and provider outages.
We improve Miza continuously and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
10. Suspension
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, misuses the service or puts other users at risk. Where possible, we will warn you first. Suspension blocks access but does not delete data.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Miza is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost sales or lost data caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell account owners inside the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Miza after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the competent courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute.
